Across the state of Tamil Nadu, practical examinations for the students of classes 10th, 11th and  12th would take place from 25th April 2022 to 2nd May 2022. It is worthy to mention that about 19lakhs of students would be appearing for the exams that would go on till 2nd of May. According to the number of students, examinations would be held in several phases in each district belonging to TN. Information is that more than 30000 students would be taking part in the examination in Chennai alone. As per the recommendation of the schools, the practical examination that used to take place for 3 hours usually would now take place for 2 hours only. It is well known that the theory exams for the students of classes 10, 11 and 12 would be from 6th May to 30th May, 11th May to 31st May and 5th May to 28th May respectively.

The preparations have been going on in full swing now to conduct board examinations for the students of classes 10, 11 and 12 in Tamil Nadu. On 20th April 2022, the Directorate of Examinations released hall tickets for these students. The students would be able to download their hall tickets from their respective schools and from any computer system with internet connection. For the students belonging to class 10, the science subject practical exams would be conducted in their school premises from 27th April to 29th April 2022. This was also mentioned by the directorate of examinations in the notification. To confirm the dates about the practical exams, the students must be in touch with their schools. The students must bring their hall tickets without fail even for their practical examinations. From 25th April to 2nd May 2022, practical exams would be conducted for the students belonging to classes 11 and 12. The exam centres have been identified by the authorities of the school education department for those who would be appearing for the board exams. It has been mentioned that the private candidates would be able to download their hall tickets from the website www. dge.tn.gov.in. From 6th May to 30th May 2022, board exams for class 10 students would take place and from 9TH May to 30th may board exams would take place for class11 students. For class 12 students, board exams would take place from 5th May to 28th May 2022.

From Wednesday onwards, admission under RTE or Right to Education Act 2009 for entry levels classes at the private matriculation schools would start in Tamil Nadu. It is well known to us that under RTE Act 25% of the seats in the entry level classes in the private schools would have to be reserved for the students belonging to the economically weaker sections. The Directorate of Matriculation Schools Mr. Karuppuswamy has mentioned that parents would have to apply online at dedicated websites for RTE admissions and the applications could be submitted till 18th of May 2022. In the website, www.rte.tnschools.gov.in, the list of schools would be uploaded and parents would be able to check the seats available for their kids in the schools in their districts from the website. It must not be forgotten that in the last year nearly 1.08lakhs seats were available under the RTE Act across private schools in TN.

It was mentioned by TNPSC exam controller Kiran Kurala that the hall tickets for the Group 7 A examination to be held on 24th and 25th April 2022 has been published on the website. It was pointed out by Tamil Nadu Public service Commission Selection officer Kiran Kurala that the written test for the post of Executive officer Grade 1 post in Group 7A would be held on 23rd morning and afternoon and on 24th morning only. It is revealed that entrance tickets of exam centres for those candidates who have been permitted to write the exam have been uploaded in the websites www.tnpsc.gov.in and www.tnpscexams.in. Information collected is that the applicants could download theory entrance tickets by entering their application number and date of birth of DOB through ODR. It is known that TNPSC is responsible for the recruitment of personnel into the public service in TN and was formed in 1929.
