However, with the recent perceptible reduction in the extent of coronavirus rage over the last few months, relaxations are being extended gradually. Presently, free Darshan tickets are being been issued. However, the devotees need to wait for long times – 2 to 3 days, to buy these tickets. Even for the Darshan of Lord Sri Venkateswara, the devotees need to wait for a very long time.! Hence, giving due consideration to the above hardships encountered by the devotees, the Thirumalai Tirupathi Devasthanam Board (TTD) has released an important announcement. As per this, to facilitate the devotees to have Darshan of the Lord Sri Venkateswara with no hardships encountered, a special Darshan ticket @Rs. 900/- is being issued to the devotees through the Indian Railway Catering and Tourism Corporation (IRCTC). While booking the travel ticket through IRCTC, the passengers need to book this Darshan ticket as well. As per the dates registered in these Darshan tickets, the devotees will be brought from the Railway Station by van or car to the temple. Subsequently, these devotees will be permitted to join the Rs. 300/-Special Darshan Ticket line, As such, these devotees will have Darshan within a maximum waiting period of 1 hour! Further, 1 Laddu will be given to these devotees as ‘Prasadam’ of the Lord Sri Venkateswara!
